How did you first become interested in football and when did you start playing?
I’ve been interested in playing ever since I can remember. Every night after school I’d meet up with all the boys on our street and we would spend the whole night playing football.
What was your first team?
Ashmoor
Who was your sporting hero growing up?
Paul Scholes 🙌🏻🙌🏻 most underrated player ever. It was David Beckham originally but that’s purely cause I fancied him 🤷🏼♀️ and why I supported Manchester United.
What positions have you played?
First ever position was right back, in primary school. Then it’s just been striker and winger since.
Which teams have you played for?
Ashmoor Ladies, Torquay United and Buckland.
What’s been your footballing highlight so far?
I think it has to be the season with Buckland when we won the treble🏆
What are your hopes for the season?
For us as a team I’d like us to go out and smash this season and smash the league. I want to feel that buzz again like we did with the season we won the treble. Personally I’d like to be the best I can be this season, and keep improving my performances as the season goes on.
What are your long-term goals in football?
To always have that buzz for football and enjoy it.
What advice would you give to young girls who want to play football?
Rub off the stigma of “girls can’t play football” and go and prove them wrong 💪🏻
