How did you first become interested in football and when did you start playing?
I first became interested in football through my brother, he used to play football for a team when I was younger so I used to play with him and my dad and it went from there. I went to my first session at 6.
What was your first team?
My first team was the local team to where I lived, where I played with all the boys from my school - called St Clements FC.
Who was your sporting hero growing up?
My sporting hero growing up was Steven Gerrard. All my family are Liverpool mad, with my Dad's side of the family still living there. So I think any kid brought up in a Liverpool loving family has always known Gerrard as the king.
What positions have you played?
I’ve played a few positions. My main position is a winger, usually left but can play either side. I’ve also played in midfield 8 or 10, and have played striker. I have more recently in the last two seasons played at wing-back now and again too depending on formation.
Which teams have you played for?
Yeovil United and Buckland Athletic
What’s been your footballing highlight so far?
Probably being named in Yeovil's first team squad in the WSL against Everton. Or scoring a worldie against Man United Devs
What are your hopes for the new season?
To score and assist as much as I can, keep enjoying my football and just develop different aspects of my game. I'd love for us to get as far as we can in the FA Cup too.
What are your long-term goals in football?
My long term goals in football are to reach the highest level I can. I haven’t had too much experience having only been living in England 3 years. But I would love to push myself and see how far I can go.
What advice would you give to young girls who want to play football?
My advice I would give to a young girl in football is to enjoy playing. Don’t create too much pressure on yourself as you’ll end up where you’re meant to be. Just express who you are on the pitch and never be scared to be creative.
